Development of a Quality of Life model.

Abstract

     This study is a research and development project. To develop and study the results of a measure of people's Quality of Life model (QOL-NongChik), fiscal year 2022-2023, from a review of empirical evidence according to steps developed according to quality management guidelines and the Deming cycle (PDCA) and steps in creating nursing practice guidelines consisting of 4 phases: 1) Developing and checking the content validity of the developed Quality of Life model, 2) The possibility of using the Quality of Life model, 3) Studying the effectiveness of the Quality of Life model for people, and 4) Improving, disseminating and expand the results of the people's Quality of Life model. The sample group was 500 people in the NongChik District area, divided into 4 age groups: early childhood group (parent version), school age group and teenagers. (parent version and self-assessment version), working age group (self-assessment version) and the elderly age group (self-assessment version or care giver version). Purposefully selected and willing to participate in research. The tools used to collect data consist of 2 parts: a general information questionnaire and a people's Quality of Life (QOL-NongChik) model. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-test.
     The results of the study found that: 1) People's Quality of Life model (QOL-NongChik) had four components: physical, mental, social relations, and environmental aspect 2) The feasibility of using the Quality of Life model. It was found that users of the people's Quality of Life model by age group and age group indicated that the developed model of the Quality of Life of the People. It was convenient and can be easily implemented and people are satisfied with using the Quality of Life model (QOL-NongChik). Was at the highest level (score 9.3) 3) Results of the People's Quality of Life model, found that every age group had a better quality of life, with statistical significance at .05 (t=8.917), (t=15.125), (t=2.331), (t=7.598) and (t=13.978) respectively and 4) It have been announced as a policy to develop the quality of life.
