Integration of Cooperation between Public Health Agencies and Mukdahan Provincial Administrative Organization for Driving Health Promotion and Environmental Health Policy.

Abstract

     The study titled "Collaboration Integration between Public Health Agencies and Mukdahan Provincial Administrative Organization for Driving Health Promotion and Environmental Health Policies" aims to 1) examine the models and mechanisms of collaboration integration between public health agencies and Mukdahan PAO in driving health promotion and environmental health policies, and 2) analyze factors affecting the success and obstacles of such collaboration integration. This study employed qualitative research methods, including in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders from public health agencies and Mukdahan PAO, as well as document analysis. Data were analyzed by content analysis.
     The findings revealed that the collaboration integration took the form of memorandums of understanding (MOU), joint committees/working groups, and collaborative planning, projects, and budgeting. However, there was a lack of clarity in roles and responsibilities, continuity in coordination, and systematic monitoring and evaluation. Key success factors included leadership, shared vision and goals, communication and participation, resource allocation, and the use of supportive technology for collaborative work. On the other hand, obstacles included differences in organizational structures and cultures, limitations in budget and personnel, and a lack of acceptance and participation from the public.
