Preparation of Community Pharmacy Accreditation in Nakhon Nayok province.

Abstract

     This research is action research aimed at developing community pharmacies to assess community pharmacies accreditation in Nakhon Nayok Province. The population consists of modern community pharmacies wishing to participate in community pharmacies accreditation assessment from January 1 to September 30, 2024. 47 drug stores in Nakhon Nayok Province. Data were collected from an assessment record form adapted from the request of the Pharmacy Council. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.
     Research results: There were 15 modern community pharmacies out of 47 wishing to participate in the community pharmacies accreditation assessment. After carrying out the first cycle of the quality process, 5 pharmacies passed the standards assessment. After completing the first cycle of the quality process, a total of 8 pharmacies passed the standards assessment, resulting in 13 pharmacies that successfully met the standards. There were 2 pharmacies that declined to participate in the community pharmacies accreditation assessment after failing the first assessment.
