Nursing practice guidelines for the care of sepsis patients at Huai Phueng Hospital, Kalasin Province.

The study of nursing practice guidelines for the care of patients with bloodstream infections at Huai Phueng Hospital, Kalasin Province aimed to study the situation and problems in caring for patients with bloodstream infections and nursing practice guidelines for the care of patients with bloodstream infections at Huai Phueng Hospital, Kalasin Province. It was a quasi-experimental research with a study period from December 2024 to February 2025, a total of 3 months. The sample group consisted of 38 patients with bloodstream infections at Huai Phueng Hospital, Kalasin Province. Data were collected from medical records and analyzed by content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The study results found that after the implementation of the guidelines, 38 patients with bloodstream infections who received services at the emergency room of Huai Phueng Hospital, Kalasin Province, between December 1, 2024 and February 15, 2025, were referred from the ER of Huai Phueng Hospital, Kalasin Province, 10 cases, or 26.31 percent, a decrease from before the implementation of the guidelines.
