Abstract

This study was case study. The objective was to study the problem and nursing care of a patient Gangrenous cholecystitis with Septic shock and Hypertension. This is a case is a 72-year-old male The patient came with the chief complaint of generalized abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea, hiccups, and vomiting, 7 hours before coming to the hospital.
This study found that an important problem in the preoperative period follows: septic shock, risk of hypoxia, abdominal pain, imbalance of fluid and electrolytes, high fever, and patients and relatives who are anxious and afraid of surgery. This study found that an important problem in the postoperative period follows: risk of inefficient breathing, risk of complications after surgery in the first 24 hours: (intra-abdominal bleeding, fluid imbalance), surgical wound pain, flatulence, risk of complications from hypertension, anxiety from lack of knowledge on how to behave when discharged. After receiving treatment and nursing care, it was found that all problems were resolved until the patient improved and was safe. The doctor then discharged the patient from the hospital to home.
