Promoting the prevention of suicide problems in Long District (Hug Long City, Hug Long People).

Abstract

     This research was participatory action research (PAR) research. The objective of the research is to develop a model to promote and prevent suicide problems in Long District (Hug Muang Long, Hug Khon Long). The development period is from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023. The sample group used in this study is patients with depression who were assessed for depression using the 2Q assessment tool and found any one of the following: 9Q score greater than or equal to 7, 8Q score less than or equal to 17, by selecting a specific sample of 18 people. Data were collected from the assessment form and analyzed using content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent t-test.
     The research results found that after implementing the model of promoting and preventing suicide problems, Long District (Hug Muang Long, Hug People Long) was able to prevent successful suicides. The results of the study found that after implementing the model of promoting and preventing suicide problems, Long District (Hug Muang Long, Hug People Long), the successful suicide rate of Long District decreased to 12.97 per 100,000 population.
