Abstract

     This research aimed to study 1) compare home health care behavior of dependent elderly patients before and after participating in a continuous care program for dependent elderly patients. 2) Compare the scores of daily activities of dependent elderly patients before and after participating in the continuous care program for dependent elderly patients. and 3) to study the satisfaction level of dependent elderly people after participating in the continuous care program for dependent elderly people. It is a single group experimental research design with pre- and post-test. The sample consists of elderly dependent patients who seek treatment at Nong Khai Hospital, Nong Khai Province. The number of 30 people was obtained from probability sampling. The research tool was a questionnaire that had been tested for quality. The statistics used in the research were basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and statistics used in testing hypotheses. including Dependent Samples t-test and Repeated Measurement Analysis of Variance (Repeated ANOVA) statistics, significance was set at .05 level.

     The research results found that 1) the results of the comparative analysis of home health care behavior of the elderly with dependency before and after joining the continuous care program for the elderly with dependency after the experiment had a higher mean score than before the experiment, with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. 2) The results of repeated measures analysis of variance on the ability level to perform daily activities of the elderly with dependency in the experimental group during the first, second and third times found the main influence of the experiment. The mean score of the ability to perform daily activities of the elderly with dependency is significantly different at the 0.05 level. The results of the pairwise comparison using the LSD method.
