Development of participation in the District Quality of Life Development Committee (CPC), Waeng Yai District, Khon Kaen Province. in preventing road accidents.

Abstract

     The objective is to study the context and situation of road of the District Quality of Life Development Committee (P.C.O.) of Waeng Yai District, Khon Kaen Province, in preventing road accidents in preventing road accidents. It is a participatory action research. Target group: District Quality of Life Development Committee (P.C.O.), Waeng Yai District, 32 people. Standard deviation, median, minimum, maximum, qualitative statistics, content analysis

     Research results for 2022-2024: The number of road accident injuries decreased by 298, 280 and 167 cases, respectively. The death tolls have been fluctuating, with 3, 1 and 2 deaths respectively. The analysis found that driver behavior is the main risk factor and a factor leading to serious accidents. Improving road safety requires awareness raising, behavioral change, and law enforcement. The follow-up evaluation found that the majority were male, 71.88 percent. Average age 42.50 years (S.D.=8.54 years), lowest age 29 years, highest age 59 years. Completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 56.25 percent.

     Implementation of the road accident prevention and reduction policy Overall, it was at a high level, with an average of 3.60 (S.D.= 0.66). When considering each aspect, it was found that the operations were at a high level in 4 aspects: law enforcement, mean score 3.70 (S.D. = 0.65). Providing knowledge and public relations, mean score 3.70 (S.D.= 0.82). Emergency medicine mean 3.60 (S.D.= 0.90). Evaluation and information, mean 3.55 (S.D.= 0.75).
