The study of the development model of village health volunteers in vision screening at Tad Dong Keng Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital, Sahasakhan District, Kalasin Province aimed to study the understanding of vision screening and the development model of village health volunteers in vision screening at Tad Dong Keng Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital, Sahasakhan District, Kalasin Province. This was an action research with a research period between June 2025 and August 2025, a total of 3 months. The sample group consisted of 62 village health volunteers in vision screening at Tad Dong Keng Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital, Sahasakhan District, Kalasin Province. Data were collected from questionnaires and analyzed using content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent t-test.
The results of the study found that the understanding of the health screening of the eye condition of the village health volunteers at Tad Dong Keng Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Sahasakhan District, Kalasin Province after the operation was at the highest level overall, but the average score was still at a high level. When comparing the understanding of the health screening of the eye condition of the village health volunteers at Tad Dong Keng Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Sahasakhan District, Kalasin Province before and after the operation, it was found that overall and in each aspect, there were statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level, where the understanding of the health screening of the eye condition of the village health volunteers at Tad Dong Keng Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Sahasakhan District, Kalasin Province after the operation was better than before the operation.
