Strengthening the capacity of village health volunteers to promote consumer protection operations at the Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospital, Nakhu District, Kalasin Province.

Abstract

     This study was action research. The objectives are to study the understanding of village health volunteers in promoting consumer protection operations and to enhance the potential of village health volunteers in promoting consumer protection operations at Tambon Health Promoting Hospital, Na Khu District, Kalasin Province. The research period is between June 2024 and August 2024, a total of 3 months. The sample consists of 55 representatives of village health volunteers in promoting consumer protection operations at Tambon Health Promoting Hospital, Na Khu District, Kalasin Province by purposive selection. The data were collected by purposive selection. Data were collected from questionnaires. The data were analyzed by content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent t-test.

     The results of the study found that after the operation, the understanding of village health volunteers in promoting consumer protection operations at the sub-district health promotion hospital, Na Khu District, Kalasin Province, overall and in each aspect was at the highest level. The understanding of village health volunteers in promoting consumer protection operations at the sub-district health promotion hospital, Na Khu District, Kalasin Province before and after the operation was found to be statistically significantly different at the 0.05 level. The understanding of village health volunteers in promoting consumer protection operations at the sub-district health promotion hospital, Na Khu District, Kalasin Province after the operation was better than before the operation.
