Case study: Nursing Intervention for a Child with Language Development Delay: Pediatric Developmental Stimulation Clinic.

This study was case study aimed to study the nursing approach for children with language development problems and the role of nurses in the child development stimulation clinic. The study was conducted on a 1 year and 4 month old female patient, U/D Congenital Hypothyroid, who came for treatment on April 29, 2024. She came for an appointment to have her FT4 and TSH blood drawn, but she still could not speak meaningful words. The doctor made an appointment to attend the development stimulation clinic and sent her for a hearing test. The data was analyzed using content analysis.
The study results found that after receiving continuous developmental stimulation with the TEDA4I program for all 4 sessions, the patient had age-appropriate language development compared to his actual age, reflecting the good results of appropriate and timely developmental stimulation, even though the patient had a health risk factor of congenital hypothyroidism. And after April 2025, there were no recurrences of seizures.
