Result of development environment knowledge and behavior in solving the problem of road accidents In the area of Kut Pla Khao Subdistrict and Khum Kao Subdistrict, Khao Wong District, Kalasin ProvinceDistrict, Kalasin Province

Abstract

This research was participatory action research aimed to study the process and results of the road accident problem solving process. in the area of Kut Pla Khao Subdistrict and Khum Kao Subdistrict, Khao Wong District, Kalasin Province. Sample size were 445 Stakeholders and People in Khao Wong District Kalasin Province. Collected data from accident report form and health literacy Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Dependent t – test and content analysis.

        The results of the study found that during the same period of the 2022 study (October 2021-June 2022), the total number of road accident injuries decreased by one-fold, especially in the Kut Pla Khao sub-district. and also found that there were no deaths in the Kut Pla Khao sub-district and Khum Kao Sub district  Average scores before and after traffic road accident prevention measures Overall, the average score increased from 34.02 points to 36.33 points and the highest increase was Knowledge and understanding of health for the prevention of road accidents and self-care behaviors for road accident prevention. When testing the scores in the overall 7 aspects, it was found that after using the measure, the mean scores were significantly different from before using the measure (p<0.05, t = -6.037), and the health literacy in each aspect was significantly different. Knowledge was significantly increased (p<0.05). It was found that the aspect with the highest mean score was Self-care behaviors for road accident prevention (p<0.05, t = -19.594).
