The development of a health promotion activities model for elderly though networks partner participation in Sadao Sub-district, Nang Rong District, Buriram Province

This action research aimed to study the development a health promotion activities model for elderly though networks partner participation in Sadao Sub-district, Nang Rong District, Buriram Province. The samples consisted of 1) 30 network participants, 2) 311 elderly people and 3) village health volunteers, selected based on predetermined criteria. Quantitative data was collected by questionnaire and focus group discussion guidelines. Data was collected between November 2025 to March 2026. Data analysis was performed by descriptive and comparative analysis was performed by paired t-test with a significance level of 0.05. Qualitative data using content analysis.
The research findings showed the developed model comprised 5 components: 1) Stakeholder Engagement 2) Community Health Assessment 3) Health Promotion 4) Capacity Building and 5) Monitoring & Evaluation. The evaluation results showed that elderly had significantly improved self-care behaviors (p-value <0.001). Additionally, village health volunteers showed significant improvements in their roles in promoting elderly’ health and their level of participation (p-value<0.001).
