The Promoting of The Sacred Forest Conservation (Don Pu Ta) Utilization in Ban NonSamran Community, Tambon Ban Whai, Ampor Wapi Pathum, Maha Sarakham

Abstract

This research aimsed to study and compare the knowledge,and attitudes before and after the
promoting Don Pu Tha forest conservation for utilization in community. The sample were 30 villagers in
Ban Non Samran community. Tambon Ban Whai, Ampor Wapi Pathum, Maha Sarakham. The research tools
were manual, promoting, brochures, knowledge test, and attitude test. The data were analyed by
percentage, mean, standard deviation and Paired t-test. The finding were that before promoting villagers
had knowledge score at good level after promoting had at very good level. When compared the average
scores before and after the promoting the villagers had the average score of knowledge after the
promotion higher than before with the level of statistical significance (p < .05). Before the promoting the
villagers had the average score of overall attitude in strongly agree. When compared the average scores of
attitude before and after the promoting the villagers had a better average score of attitude with the level
of statistical significant at (P < .05)
