Abstract

This research aimed to the promote of bio-fermentation from fruit and vegetable waste in
household, to study and compare knowledge and opinion to the bio-fermentation from fruit and
vegetable waste in household in Ban Donbom. The sample consisted 30 people of Ban DonBom being
selected by volunteery sampling. The instruments used in this research were guidebook, brochure,
knowledge questionnaire, opinion measure. The statistics used to data analysis were frequency,
percentage, standard deviation and comparative statistics paired t-test. The result showed that before the
promotion, the people had means of knowledge score at medium level (gif.latex?\bar{x} =12.20), after the promotion,
people had means of knowledge score at high level (gif.latex?\bar{x} =18.30), before the promotion, the people had
means of opinion score at disagree level (gif.latex?\bar{x} =2.13) after the promotion, people had means of opinion
score at agree level (gif.latex?\bar{x} =2.95). When compared the average scores before and after promotion found after
the promotion, people had knowledge and opinion more than before the promotion of bio-fermentation
from fruit and vegetable waste in household statistically significant at the .05 level. It showed that the
promotion of bio-fermentation from fruit and vegetable waste in household resulted increasing knowledge
and opinion of the people.
