The Promotion of Planting Kaentawan Herb in Ban WangMai Community, Nakha Sub-district, Wapi Pathum District, MahaSarakham Province

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study and compare knowledge and attitudes before and after
promotion of planting Kaentawan Herb in Ban WangMai. The sample were 30 people of Ban
WangMai..community, selected by voluntary..The instruments used to collected data included, promotion
handbook, brochures, questionnaires..about knowledge and attitude. The statistics used for data were
analyzed by a frequency, a percentage, a mean, a standard deviation and paired t – test. The results
showed that Before promotion, people had Knowledge score at medium level and after promotion had
knowledge score at high level. When compaired mean score between before and after indicated that
people had knowledge score after taller than before significant at the .05. Before promotion people had
attitude score had at moderate level and after promotion had at More level. When compaired mean
score between before and after indicated that people had attitude score after more than before
significant at the .05
