Promoting Energy Conservation for students of Maha Sarakam University

This purpose aimed to study the condition of energy conservation and perceived energy
conservation knowledge to promoting energy conservation, to study and compare
knowledge and attitude before and after energy conservation promoting and study the
satisfaction toward promoting energy conservation for students of MahaSarakam University.
The sample groups are 397 Undergraduate students of MahaSarakam University , and the 30 voluntary students. The research tools were manuals, brochures, knowledge test, attitude
test and the satisfaction test. The statistics used in the data analysis were frequency,
percentage, means, the standard deviation, and Paired t-test. The study found that condition
of energy conservation, students practiced the most we closing the refrigerator after use, the
Most students perceived energy conservation knowledge via television. Before promotion
students had knowledge score at good level, after promotion, had at excellent level. When
compaired means score between knowledge before and after indicated that students had
knowledge score after more than before significant at .05. Before promotion, students had
attitude score at agree level, after promotion, had at strongly agree level. When compaired
means score between knowledge before and after indicated that students had attitude score
after more than before significant .05. After promotion students had satisfaction to promoion
at the high level.
