Development of guidelines for Diabetes patients care by community context nutrition therapy Kham Muang Hospital Kalasin Province.

Abstract

This research was Action research aimed to studied model and result of Diabetes
patients care by personal nutrition therapy in Diabetes patients who can not control
blood sugar levels. Sample size were 46 Diabetes patients and 22 village health
volunteers. Data were collected by historical and food consumption evaluation , self
evaluation , questionnaire , record from , and behavior changing from. Data were
analyzed by descriptive statistic.
The study indicated that sample size could blood sugar control lower 155 mg/dl
52.64% , 60.88% and 69.58% respectively. Diabetes patients had not
complication(hypoglycemia , hyperglycemia). Knowledge passed evaluation criteria
91.30% and satisfaction were good level. Village health volunteers pass training and
Diabetes patients follow up and they were 22 community nutrition therapy volunteers.
