Health Status of Hypertensive Patients in Blood Pressure Controlled

This study was descriptive research.The subjects of this study were to explorehealth status for blood pressure control among patients with hypertensive patients and the result research analyze for subproject research phase 2 continue were research and development.The study was carried out during January 2018 to January 2019. The study research in to divide operated on two procedure ; one procedure : 117 subjects with hypertension patients at out of department hypertension clinic Yasothon Hospital were recruited with simple random sampling ;two procedureanalyzed of the result research for subproject research phase 2 continue were research and development. Data was collected using instruments : personal and health status, and blood pressure control self-efficacy questionnaire including of taking medications for blood pressure control questionnaire. Data was collected using Frequency ,mean (), and standard deviation (SD) were used to analyse quantitative data and content analysis was used to analyse qualitative data.
The result of this study were as follow.Most of patients with hypertension were aged over 60 years (65.80%), finished primary school (88.90%), working as agriculture (50.40%), and the duration of illness was between 1-5 years (62.20%). The participants had over body mass index (64.10%), systolic blood pressure > 140 mmHg, (68.40%), diastolic blood pressure > 90 mmHg ( 29.90%), Blood pressure control behaviors ; 1) food consumption dimension - most of participants consumption high salt food such as ferment food 1-2 times a week (83.80%) and monosodium glutamate 6-7 times a week ( 88.00%) and also consumed fatty foods including fried and deep fried food 1-2 times a week (62.40%), oily food 1-2 time a week (62.40%), only foods 1-2 time a week (60.70%); 2) exercise dimension - most of participants exercised regularly (74.40%) ; 3) stress management dimension - most of participants deal with stress regularly (75.20%); 4) illness management dimension – 41.90% of the participants forgetting of taking medications 1-2 times a week.
