Abstract

     This study was an action research. The objective is to develop guidelines for the care of new pulmonary tuberculosis patients who are at risk of dying during treatment. and assess the feasibility of developing guidelines for the care of new pulmonary tuberculosis patients at risk of dying during treatment. Nakhon Phanom Province The samples used in this research were 1. A health team of 20 people for analysis. Synthesis and develop guidelines for caring for TB patients in Nakhon Phanom province. 2 . 1 2 people in charge of TB work to assess the feasibility of developing guidelines for caring for new pulmonary tuberculosis patients who are at risk of dying during treatment. Nakhon Phanom Province 3 . Pulmonary tuberculosis patients receiving services in TB clinics All hospitals in Nakhon Phanom province of 32 people who have the qualifications and characteristics as specified. are willing and willing to participate in the study The research tool was a general questionnaire. A feasibility assessment form for the use of guidelines for the care of new pulmonary tuberculosis patients at risk of dying during treatment. Nakhon Phanom Province Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage and mean. The study was conducted during July– August 2020.

     Results : 1) Problems in caring for new pulmonary tuberculosis patients who are at risk of dying during treatment Nakhon Phanom Province can be analyzed and divided into 5 issues as follows: service system, TB care process, health team for TB patients, and for caregivers and relatives. 2) Developing guidelines for the care of new pulmonary tuberculosis patients at risk of dying during treatment Nakhon Phanom Province consists of formulating a work plan to promote self-care for pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Promoting family members to support self-care of pulmonary tuberculosis patients Promotion of health teams to support self-care of pulmonary tuberculosis patients and their relatives and guidelines for caring for tuberculosis patients in Nakhon Phanom Province for the care of new pulmonary tuberculosis patients at risk of dying during TB treatment. 3) Possibility of developing TB program implementation guidelines for the care of new pulmonary tuberculosis patients at risk of dying during treatment.
