The development of Operations to prevent injury from road accidents Manchakhiri District Khon Kaen
Abstract
This study is action research. The objective is to develop a road traffic injury prevention operation model Mancha Khiri District Khon Kaen. It was implemented from the development Strategy and 5 Tools of Thailand Road Safety Policy Foundation, under the activity framework of nine activities (D-RTI PLUS). and compare statistics of death rates from road accidents The sample is Mancha Khiri Road Safety Operation Center Committee Road Accident Investigation Subcommittee Executives and persons responsible for traffic accidents of local government organizations Administrators or persons in charge of traffic accidents of sub-district health promoting hospitals and community leaders of 40 people. The data were collected from the District Level Road Traffic Injury Prevention Assessment (D-RTI) and analyzed quantitative data. by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation and T-Test qualitative data obtained from interviews use content analysis.
The results of the research revealed that The development of a road traffic injury prevention operation model Mancha Khiri District Operates under the framework of 9 activities (D-RTI PLUS).
as follows 1) There is a core team working group and a meeting to drive, plan, solve problems with participation of interdisciplinary teams. 2) There is surveillance information and situation preparation the problem of injury and death 3) There is an investigation into the cause of injury and death from road accident using Haddon's Matrix Table 4) Select the problem. Analysis of factors and causes of road accidents. 5) Determine the goal, how to solve the problem, bring it to the plan / project / measure and results. 6) A local/sub-district level team (RTI-Team) or the RTI-Team has been established, along with surveillance data management. and to prepare the situations of injuries and fatalities at the sub-district level 7) Measures to prevent injuries from road accidents are implemented at the district level in line with the problematic issues. 8) Target and fix the risk point (Black spot) or the provision of a safe road zone. (Safety Zone) and 9) Summary of performance.
