Effects of education according to the tuberculosis prevention health promotion program for Aging Khuntan District

Abstract

This Quasi experimental research aimed to study the Effects of education according to the tuberculosis prevention and health promotion program among Aging in Khuntan District. The sample size was aging who received education according to the tuberculosis prevention and health promotion program and control group was received routine activities health education (30 persons/group). The intervention used in the study was education according to the tuberculosis prevention and health promotion program composed of 4 activities. Data was collected by questionnaire during October – December, 2023 and data analyzed used statistic as, Chi-square test, independent t-test. The result of this study reported that, comparison between before and after in experimental group, the factors significantly increased mean score including, knowledge’ tuberculosis prevention, self-efficacy, and behavior of tuberculosis prevention, (P-value= 0.008, 0.001, 0.024), respectively.
