Health behavior and factor effecting to health behavior among Health workers in Thalang Hospital, Phuket Province.

Abstract
Cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study either selected factors association or jointly predict factor effected to health behavior among health workers in Thalang Hospital. Population was 392 health workers in Thalang Hospital in Phuket Province, in 2025 fiscal year and the sample size calculating used Daniel formula for 215 cases, and systematic random sampling was determining. Data collected by questionnaires composed of; characteristic, health literacy and health behavior among health workers. In addition to, validity was checked by 3 experts and try out testing reliability by Cronbach’s coefficient alpha and KR-20 about 0.87, an association analysis used Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression analysis. The result showed that health literacy among health workers in Thalang Hospital was classifying in high level (80%) and health behavior among health workers in Thalang Hospital was classifying in high level (81.39%), respectively. An association analyzed found that health literacy was associated with health behavior among health workers in Thalang Hospital, Phuket Province with statistic significantly (r=0.433, P-value<0.001). Prediction model analyzed reported that factor effecting to health behavior among health workers in Thalang Hospital, Phuket Province including, self-management skill (P-value<0.001) media literacy skill (P-value<0.00 communication skill (P-value=0.017) access skill (0.018), respectively. All predicting factors accounted for 32.6 (R2 =0.326).
