Factors Associated with Behaviours of Falls Prevention among Elderly at Tungpla Sub-district, Khok pho District, Pattani Province

Abstract
Descriptive research aimed to study association between health perception and behavior of fall prevention among Elderly. Population was 264 Elderly in Tungpla Sub-district Khok pho District, Pattani Province, in 2025 fiscal year and the sample size calculating used Daniel formula for 173 cases, and systematic random sampling was determining. Data collected by questionnaires composed of; characteristic, health perception and behavior of fall prevention among Elderly. In addition to, validity was checked by 3 experts and try out testing reliability by Cronbach’s coefficient alpha about 0.816, an association analysis used Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The resulted found that health perception classified in moderate level (68.10%) (69.36%) ( =2.30, S.D.=0.462) health behavior of fall prevention classified in moderate level (61.30%) ( =2.38, S.D.=0.498), respectively. An association found that health perception was positively associated with behavior of fall prevention among Elderly in Tungpla Sub-district Khok pho District, Pattani Province with statistic significant (r=0.242, P-value=0.001).
