Caring for high-risk groups and patients infected with the Coronavirus Disease 2019 with the “Thieng Na” model by the participation of partnership network Trakan Phuetphon District Ubon Ratchathani Province

Abstract

This action research aimed to study the care system for high-risk groups and COVID-19 patients with the “Thieng Na” model and to study the participation of health network partners in Trakan Phuetphon District for caring with high-risk groups and COVID-19 patients. The target group were: 1) 1,380 the high-risk with coronavirus disease 2019 groups of people who traveled to Trakan Phuet Phon District.2) 377 the confirmed with coronavirus disease 2019 patients who traveled to Trakan Phuet Phon District.3) Health network partners Trakan Phuetphon District, 89 people. Implemented during 1 June – 31 July 2021, The Research Instrument was: the participation assessment form. Data was analyzed using quantitative data. The quantitative data uses an average percentage standard deviation. The findings showed that Trakan Phuetphon District has the care system for the high-risk groups and the confirmed COVID-19 patients with the “Thieng Na” model.The process of action is as follows: 1. Study the problem condition. 2. Set guidelines 3. Operate the “Thieng Na” model. 3.1 Manage Place 3.2 Manage Team 3.3 Manage Money 4. Do performance Appraisal. Results found that high-risk with coronavirus disease confirmed with coronavirus disease 2019 patients who traveled to Trakan Phuet Phon district were cared and assisted by the “Thieng Na” model through the participation process and passed the participation 100 percent. Study showed that before proceeding the participation average was 2.38 points and average was 3.68 points after the proceeding. Therefore, it can be said that Trakan Phuetphon District can provide the care for the high-risk and the confirmed with coronavirus disease 2019 groups of people appropriately to the situation. There is a systematic approach and process with patient benefits and safety and can provide effective care for patients infected with the Coronavirus Disease 2019 according to the plan prepared. It was born as a "Thieng Na” model for other areas to apply.
