EXERCISE BEHAVIOR OF PEOPLE IN SISAKET PROVINCE AFTER THE PANDEMIC OF COVID-19

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: 1) to study the exercise behavior of people in Sisaket Province. 2) to compare the exercise behavior of people in Sisaket Province classified by gender. The sample group of the study was 400 people in Sisaket Province, selected by an accidental sampling technique. The instrument used was a survey of the exercise behavior of people in Sisaket Province. Data analysis involves calculating frequencies and percentages. The results of the study show that the majority of Sisaket people who exercise were female. They were between the ages of 20-29 years, followed by those between the ages of 0-19 years and those between 40-49 years. In terms of level of education, it was found that most of them graduated with a bachelor's degree, followed by those who graduated from high school (general or vocational) and graduated with a postgraduate degree. In terms of status, it was found that the majority had single status, followed by married status and widowed status. Most people had no congenital diseases. In terms of occupation, it was found that most were students, followed by government employees. The most common exercise activities of Sisaket people were walking, followed by running and playing football. The place to exercise was at home or in a residential area. The period of exercise was from 3:00 p.m. to 5:59 p.m. The purpose of exercise was to make the body strong. The suggestions or needs of Sisaket people were to create more public parks.
