Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study and compare the effect of complex training on agility in male’s futsal player Ban Trasaeng School Surin Province. The samples were 12 male futsal athletes of Ban Trasaeng School in Surin Province aged between 10-12 years old and were divided into control group and experimental group by using the matching group method. For the data collection, the control group was trained by using the futsal training program, whereas the experimental group was trained by using the complex training program in conjunction with the futsal training program. The training period was 6 weeks long, 3 days per week, i.e. Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. An agility test was used for before, fourth and six weeks of training period. The data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, the One-Way Analysis of Variance with repeated measures for paired difference by using the Tukey’s method and the Independent Sample T-Test to compare the inter-group differences with the statistical significance at the .05 level.

The results showed that After 6 weeks of combined training, the control group and the experimental group was no statistically significant difference in agility test results at the .05 level, but in the experimental group, it was found that after 6 weeks of the combined training program, the agility test results improved more than before statistically significant at .05 level
