Factor associated with health behavior among Type 2 Diabetes mellitus patients in Romanee Sub-district, Kapong District, Phangnga Province

Abstract
Descriptive research aimed to study factor associated with the health behavior of patients with type 2 diabetes in Romanee Subdistrict, Kapong District, Phang Nga Province. The population group consisted of 174 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Romanee Subdistrict, Kapong District, Phang Nga Province. Using Daniel's formula for calculating a sample size when the population is known, a sample of 132 individuals was obtained. A systematic random sampling method was used. The data collection tool was an interview form consisting of three parts: personal characteristics of diabetic patients, health literacy, and health behaviors of diabetic patients. Content validity was examined by three experts and then pre-tested to analyze reliability using Cronbach's alpha formula, resulting in 0.867. Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient. The research results revealed that the health literacy of diabetic patients had a mean score at a high level (84.85%) ( =2.84, S.D.=0.387) The health behavior of diabetic patients had a mean score at a high level (73.50%) ( =2.92, S.D.=0.264) The correlation analysis results found that health literacy had a relationship with
