Factors Associated with Stroke Prevention Behaviors among Hypertensive Patients in Bana Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pattani Province.

Abstract
This descriptive research aimed to study factor associate with stroke preventive behaviors among hypertension patient in Bana Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Muang District, Pattani Province. Population in this study consisted of 459 hypertension patient which received treatment in Bana Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Muang District, Pattani Province, in fiscal year 2025. Sample size of 233 participants was determined using the Daniel formula and selected through systematic random sampling. Data were collected using a four-part structured interview form, which was validated by three experts and yielded a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.887. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results revealed that health perception was classified in high level (73.80%) ( =2.738, S.D.=0.440) and behavior of stroke prevention was classified in high level (83.70%) ( =2.832, S.D.=0.493), respectively. An association analyzed reported that health perception was associated with stroke preventive behaviors among hypertension patient in Bana Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Muang District, Pattani Province with statistic significantly (r=0.198, P-value<0.002).
