Abstract

This research is survey research to study factors related to stress in the practice of registered nurses among the pandemic situation of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The sample consisted of 317 registered nurses working in government hospitals in Udon Thani province. Data was collected between 1 October 2021 and 5 November 2021. The tool used is a questionnaire consisting of a general information questionnaire. Stress Level Assessment and Stress Factors Questionnaire Confidence analysis by calculating Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient was 0.89. The data was analyzed with descriptive statistics and correlated. Using Pearson's correlation statistics.

The results showed that most of the registered nurses were female. Age between 21 - 30 years old, single status, bachelor's degree income in the range of 15,001-20,000 per month 1–5 years of relevant work experience. The overall level of work stress in the pandemic situation of coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) was low (M=2.05, SD=0.70) and we found that the factors related to the stress level of registered nurses with more relationships in all aspects was the nature of the job, which was moderately correlated with the stress level of registered nurses. statistically significant (r=0.41, p≤0.001)

The results of this research can be used as information as a basis for planning the care of stress, including the prevention of stress from the practice of registered nurses among the pandemic situation of the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).
