Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study results and compare the effect of agility and speed training on amateur footballers of Snowman FC team. The samples were 10 male amateur soccer players from Snowman FC team aged between 18-21 were randomly selected to train in an agility and speed program for a period of 4 weeks. The training period was 60 minutes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 17:30-18:30. The research tools are agility and speed programs. Statistics used in data analyzed the data by mean, standard deviation and comparison within the samples before and after training, using t-test dependent statistics. The results showed that 1. The mean and standard deviation of the agility of the samples before training was 11.07, standard deviation was 2.54 and after training. The mean was 10.74 and the standard deviation was 1.87, respectively. 2. The mean and standard deviation of the speed of the samples before training were 7.18 mean and standard deviation were 0.56 and after training. The mean was 6.92 and the standard deviation was 0.80, respectively. 3. Comparison of the difference between the average agility and agility within the sample Before training and after training There was a statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level. 4. Comparison of average speed differences within the sample Before training and after training There was no statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level. In conclusion, the effect of agility and speed training on amateur footballers of Snowman FC team, there was a statistically significant increase in agility. except in terms of speed.
