Effects of Self–Efficacy Promotion in Home bound Elderly Caregivers of Elderly Caregivers in Bang duan Subdistrict, Palain District, Trang Province.

This is a Quasi-Experimental Research study on the effects of self-competency promotion in home-bound elderly caregivers of elderly caregivers in Bang-duan Subdistrict, Palain District, Trang Province. The samples were selected by purposive sampling of 30 bedridden elderly caregivers. The data was collected through a questionnaire and the self-competency promotion program for caring for bedridden elderly of elderly caregivers who passed a content validity check. from 3 experts; and analyzed by descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, independent t-test, and content analysis.
The study found that after promoting self-efficacy in caring for bedridden elderly, it was found that the caregivers of bedridden elderly had significantly better mean scores in Healthcare, Economic Care, Social Care, and Psychological Care after the experiment than before the experiment. (p < .05).
