Abstract
The purpose of this quasi-experimental research was to study the effects of an elderly health promotion model by empowerment and community participation process in Non Khun Sub-district, Yang Chum Noi District. Sisaket Province.The sample group was split into two groups, each with 90 participants: the experimental group and the comparison group. The elderly in the Non Khun sub-district made up the experimental group. Elderly residents of Lin Fah sub-district in Yang Chum Noi District, Sisaket Province, included in comparison group The experimental group received a 12-week health promotion program, while the comparison group received a regular public health care program. Data were collected using questionnaires twice before and after the experiment. Between February - May 2023. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics presented by percentage, mean, standard deviation, median, comparing the differences of mean scores between groups using independent t-test, significance was set at 0.05. The results of the study revealed that the difference in mean scores of social support Self-esteem of the elderly changes in health Satisfaction with participation in Barthel Activities of Daily Living : ADL and the quality of life of the experimental group was higher than the comparison group with a statistical significance of 0.05. The experimental results showed that the developed program was able to promote the health the elderly according to the objectives set.
