SMART FDA SISAKET APPLICATION for Convenient, Fast Food Licensing with Consumer Safety in Sisaket Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: 1) develop the SMART FDA SISAKET APPLICATION for convenient, fast food licensing that ensures consumer safety in Sisaket Province; 2) evaluate the efficiency of the SMART FDA SISAKET APPLICATION for convenient, fast food licensing that ensures consumer safety in Sisaket Province; and 3) assess user satisfaction with the SMART FDA SISAKET APPLICATION for convenient, fast food licensing that ensures consumer safety in Sisaket Province.

The population consisted of 100 food officials under the Food Act B.E. 2522 (1979) in Sisaket Province who completed the food officer capacity development training course in 2024. The sample group included 50 participants, studied between March and June 2024. Research instruments comprised the SMART FDA SISAKET APPLICATION for convenient, fast food licensing that ensures consumer safety in Sisaket Province and a user satisfaction questionnaire. Statistical analysis utilized means and standard deviations.

The research findings revealed that: 1) The SMART FDA SISAKET APPLICATION consists of four primary sections: application homepage, product analysis menu, food production facility inspection menu, and Learning & Testing menu; 2) The efficiency evaluation by experts showed an overall high performance level (x̄ = 3.84), with the highest mean score in convenience and ease of use (x̄ = 4.59); 3) The satisfaction assessment from 50 food officials under the Food Act B.E. 2522 (1979) in Sisaket Province who completed the food officer capacity development training course in 2024 demonstrated the highest level of satisfaction, particularly regarding the system's data interpretation capabilities (x̄ = 4.67) and overall system usability (x̄ = 4.59).
