Abstract
The objective of this action research was to study the model of caring for the dependent elderly by community participation. Urban Community Health Center MueangSisaket District Sisaket Province.The research process is 1) To study the context and problems of health care for the dependent elderly 2) the development phase of the dependent elderly3) Evaluation of the effectiveness of the developed program. by using quality management in 4 steps: planning, implementing the plan data processing and Reflection (PAOR) in the amount of 3 rounds through the group discussion process. The sample group in the development of the model is A group of 38 stakeholders and a sample group used to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed model of 100 people. Between October 2021to June 2022 Data were analyzed by collecting, categorizing, and analyzing the content of the research findings. A model of caring for the dependent elderly by community participation Urban Community Health Center MueangSisaket District , Sisaket99Province.
The model for the development of caring for the elderly with dependency is PKESCV Model consisting of 1) P: Policy, which is a policy to support caring for the elderly with dependency care promote welfare 2)K: Knowledge and Skill is knowledge and skills in caring for elderly with dependency 3) E: Empowerment 4) S: Social support 5) C: Collaboration is strong participation which cooperation and strength will lead to continuity and sustainability and 6) V: Value is to value the elderly who are dependent. The results of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the model found that knowledge score Attitudes of caregivers for the elderly obtaining social support The level of participation in caring for the elderly of the network partners Satisfaction of dependent elderly and ADL scores of the elderly was higher than before the experiment with a statistical significance level of 0.05. Therefore, the care model for the dependent elderly was developed. can be used to provide services for the elderly effectively meets the intended purpose.
